It’s hard not to see the needs of those around us. Western Branch Community Church is committed to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ through Outreach.

In Acts 1:8, we are told that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. With that power, we are charged to share the Good News.

The goal of the Outreach Ministries is to ensure we are following the Lord’s directing in reaching our Jerusalem, our Judea, our Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world.

Local Outreach Ministries
Our Jerusalem is Hampton Roads, Virginia

The Local Outreach Ministry exists to build bridges to Jesus through our acts of service to others. The mission is to do good deeds to create good will to gain the opportunity ti share the Good News.

We provide help to those hurting, prayer  for every person regardless of their situation and resources to live a life pleasing to God. We have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses in the here and now, to those hurting, lost,,and lonely people in our back yard. Each year we help hundreds of people with various needs from biblical counseling to providing meals.

Three ways we help through Local Outreach Ministries:

1.     Community Group. Community groups provide acts of kindness, some small and some large.  Small acts like yard work.
2.     Church-wide events. Annual events such as Serve the City Chesapeake allow our church family to serve in a big way.
3.     Service Evangelism. Western Branch Community Church adopted a neighborhood to spread love and hope through a variety of service evangelism efforts.

Regional Outreach Ministries
Our Judea is Southeast Virginia & Northeast North Carolina

We believe in the Power of the Gospel to change one’s life. Our Judea outreach exists to be His hands and feet in Southeast Virginia and Northeast North Carolina.  We reach beyond our neighborhood to share the Good News.  Part of that mission includes taking the Gospel to those desperately in need of it. Planting more churches like New Branch Community Church in Windsor, Virginia, enable us to witness to others.

Our Samaria is helping our Ministry Partners

It’s easy to see needs around us. Our Samaria outreach works to bring God’ Word to those in need. Our Samaria outreach efforts will go to support ministries like the Crisis Pregnancy Center, Youth Challenge, and others.

Reaching The Uttermost Parts of the World

Our International efforts will continue to feed orphans, build churches and train pastors in countries like the Philippines, El Salvador, and Brazil.
